What is Soy Wax ?

Soy wax is made from the oil of soybeans.

After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled and rolled into flakes.  The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated.  The hydrogenating process converts some of the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturated.

Soy wax is a renewable resource that is biodegradable, non-toxic and no-carcinogenic.  Soybeans are grown without pesticides, making them an eco-friendly choice.

They are also vegan friendly as they don’t contain any animal products or by-products.
