ABOUT LITTLE PAWS

Hello, I’m Kim and this is how an idea became Little Paws. 

When I was asked to go back to work full time after the pandemic, I didn’t like the idea of leaving my fur baby on his own & discovered a lot of dog owners felt the same.  I have been offering tailored care for clients & their dogs since July 2021.

During my time caring for dogs, I have created Calming Candles after discovering some candles/diffusers are toxic to dogs, affecting their health & behaviour.  My candles are hand poured in my kitchen using soy wax & 100% essential oils that can help alleviate anxieties.  I research every oil ensuring it is safe for dogs & what their benefits are.

When creating seasonal candles, I sit at the breakfast bar with egg cups, dropping oils into them & blend to create a unique scent.  Then a candle is made with the new scent and tested to make sure it burns correctly and has a good throw.

At Little Paws, we are a dog-friendly non-toxic natural candle shop that is committed to sustainability and eco-friendliness. Our story began with our love for dogs and the environment. We wanted to create a business that would allow us to share our passion with others while also making a positive impact on the planet. We are dedicated to producing high-quality candles that are safe for both pets and humans.
